Style #1: The Flat Roman Shade

The Flat Roman Shade is one of our most popular styles.  It is uncluttered, sleek, simple, and very versatile.  When lowered, it has a flat or smooth appearance and neatly folds when raised.  Because of the flat style, this style of shade works beautifully with both solid and print fabrics.

Style #2: The Relaxed Roman Shade

The Relaxed Roman Shade, with its signature curve, gives your window a soft, elegant look that can be slightly more casual depending on the fabric choice.  When raised, these shades create a beautiful bow at the bottom.  They appear more soft and casual with a more flowing, laid-back look.  Please use these shades in areas of the home that do not require raising and lowering the shades often.  They will need some restyling after raising.

Style #3: The Hobbled Roman Shade

Another beautiful style of Roman is the Hobbled Roman shade.  Unlike the flat Roman these have excess fabric between each pleat to maintain their folds in the fabric even when fully extended.  The folds remain in place, creating a soft ripple effect.  They provide an elegant, textured look that adds dimension, volume, and depth.  These are great for more formal settings.

Style #4: The Roman Shade Valance

The Roman Shade valance is a stationary valance made to look like a Roman shade, yet it costs a fraction of a Roman shade.  We suggest using it alone as a top treatment or using it over other window treatments.  It is excellent for hiding hardware and adding a polished look over other treatments. In this situation, it adds color, texture, and interest while drawing the eye up in a room.

Custom Roman shades should be a contender in your home for their elegance and versatility.  Suppose you are still on the fence as to which Roman shades are best for you.  In that case, we can help you choose the perfect Roman Shades that harmonize with your space and lifestyle based on room style, functionality needs, measurements, fabric options, light control preferences, mounting choices, and maintenance requirements.  We can help you choose the right Roman shades that combine aesthetics and practicality beautifully whether you are decorating your entire home or a single room.
