I want to share some exciting news with you!   Made in the Shade Blinds North DFW won the Best of Denton County  Window Treatments!

Call me honored! And humbled! And overjoyed!

We have been honored to win this award for five years now. These awards aren’t new to our community. They’ve been recognizing local businesses for nearly 20 YEARS now.

When it was down to the top 3 nominees, I attended their annual nomination mixer at Marty B’s. Because this event is so popular, I couldn’t believe how many people were there — thankfully, the weather turned a little cooler that evening, and we had a great time – even a little bit of rain. Due to our recent drought, the rain shower was a welcome sight.  Thankfully, even though the event was outdoors, we had some shelter from the rain and didn’t get too wet.

At the mixer, it warmed my heart to meet many fellow business owners who care about the people in our growing community. (Trust me, folks, we live in a fantastic place.)

When I first brought Made in the Shade Blinds to North DFW, it was to provide a valuable and personalized service to our community. Now, to have even this small sign of proof that we’re succeeding is beyond rewarding.
